Easter in England and news

I started to write this 2 weeks ago but I have been so busy with school I have not had the time to do it but will try to keep you updated as much as possible. This year 's Easter was very different to rest. On a normal Easter morning we would go to church as a family and celebrate with the family but instead we woke up and went on a dog walk with our dog Clemmie and read most of the day. In the afternoon we had an easter egg quiz to get our easter eggs. In the evnning we had a roast dinner. The next day my sister Katie who is 19 and I went on a 5 km run and donated £10 to the NHS. We later found out that our Prime minster Boris Johnson had been in intenstive care with the conronavirus and had now just got out of hospital and was clear of covid-19. I started online school a week ago and it feels so strange to be doing my work from home. I am still facetiming my friends as lockdown has not yet been lifted but the government but they have introduced more testing for the virus now available to the elderly instead of just the NHS workers and people who think they have it.

Now nearly being in lockdown for nearly 6 weeks I lucky I as my dad is still working and getting money for the family whilst others are struggling even to a meal on the table for their families. England has leaned towards a more strict approach to the virus and this is meant only allow a two group gathering. I miss my grandparents a lot and on Sunday it is my grandma's birthday and she is 80. We had planned to go to a nice restaurant and go and see some gardens with her but now we can't do this so we are planing to facetime her instead.
